Welcome to Empower Speech and Language Services, where I am honored to share with the community my experience which spans over three decades working with different populations with a wide range of communication challenges.

At Empower Speech and Language Services, I combine my professional experience and clinical knowledge with my life experience. My background allows me to guide clients, parents, and caregivers with compassion. Together, we will address all circumstances that contribute to and promote the achievement of goals. PURPOSE
Empower Speech and Language Services is a private speech-language therapy practice servicing individuals from preschool age to adults. Services are provided in-person in clients' homes, select community locations, and online via teletherapy. I provide evaluations and therapy services using evidence-based practices combined with compassionate care and cultural sensitivity to clients located throughout the State of Ohio. Online therapy services are available to clients of all ages, throughout the state of Ohio.
MISSION
Through Empower Speech and Language Services, it is my mission to help each individual client achieve their desired communication goals so my clients feel more confident and empowered in social, academic, and professional situations. Through education, sharing in conversation, guiding discussions, demonstration, and collaboration with parents/caregivers, educators, and other professionals, I will support my clients in achieving lasting success. What I do at Empower Speech and Language Services is not just a career but is truly a ministry.

evaluations & therapy
I take a collaborative and client-centered approach to providing therapy and parent coaching. Whether we are meeting in-person or online, every session will include engaging and motivating activities along with recommendations for home practice.

I provide comprehensive evaluations to identify the underlying factors contributing to an individual's challenges and to guide treatment planning as well as educational recommendations and accommodations.
Following the completion of the evaluation, an evaluation report will be provided and will include background information, assessment data, areas of weakness to be targeted, recommendations, and next steps.
In order to offer increased access to care, I provide services in-home, within the community, and online. In-person services are offered for clients in Montgomery and Greene Counties and throughout the Dayton Metropolitan Area. Online therapy is available to clients anywhere within the State of Ohio.

payment & insurance
Empower Speech and Language does not accept insurance at this time. However, ​a physician's order is recommended prior to scheduling any communication evaluation. I will also provide clients with a Superbill to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
