Angela C. Williams, M.A., CCC-SLP

Angela brings over three decades of experience as a speech-language pathologist to Empower Speech and Language Services. She has extensive experience serving children of all ages in the public schools and outpatient clinics, and private practice settings.

Angela was drawn to the field of speech-language pathology due to her childhood interest in human anatomy and physiology and her love of English classes and learning about other languages. While growing up with neighborhood friends who experienced communication challenges, she learned at a young age the impact communication has on social, emotional, and academic skills. Since childhood, Angela has been seeking ways to elevate individuals through communication.

Angela's life experience, cultural competence, and compassion for others create a space where her clients can connect and learn. She works with her clients so they understand the key role they play in their own success journey, and how with guidance and support they can achieve their goals.

Angela is also a wife and caregiver. She enjoys spending time with her adult children and caring for and playing with the grandchildren. On the weekends when she is not gardening she regularly visits the local farmers' markets and gets out to see plays, dance performances, and art exhibits. 

She lives by the mottos "Life is not a destination but a journey. Enjoy the journey" and "Enjoy life! It's later than you think."
